1,615 m³ vertical hot-water tank for a greenhouse in Virginia, Australia

In July 2022, Grovo Tuinbouw and SJR Greenhouse Tanks delivered and installed a vertical water storage tank on site in Virginia, Australia. The tank is used to store hot water for the greenhouse’s heating system.

With a capacity of 1,615 m³ and a diameter of 14.35 meters, it is a substantial tank. By storing heat when it is available and using it only when the greenhouse needs it, the heating system operates more consistently and efficiently.

Virginia, north of Adelaide, is one of Australia’s largest greenhouse horticulture regions. Just as with our projects in Japan and Texas, the greenhouse was shipped as a kit and assembled on-site by our own team: this allows us to deliver the same quality, no matter where in the world the greenhouse is located.
