We have been active in the tank manufacturing industry for nearly 60 years. In 1967, Wim Groeneveld founded our first company: Grovo, a trading firm specializing in the sale of storage tanks to the horticulture and fuel sectors.
In the late 1980s, the second generation—Harold and Frank—joined the family business and expanded its core activities: the product line was expanded to include water storage tanks, and the possibility of establishing an in-house production facility was explored. In 2001, Bödenpresswerk Daaden was founded in Daaden, Germany, and immediately became part of Groeneveld Holding. In 2003, the company took over the production of complete storage tanks and equipment with the acquisition of TAB De Blesse. In 2005, Grovo Tuinbouw was launched, focusing on the horticultural sector.
In the years that followed, Groeneveld Holding continued to grow by adding companies to the group: CTC Tankbouw (2012), Tolsma Tanks (2021), and SJR Greenhouse Tanks (2022). Step by step, we built an increasingly comprehensive product range of steel storage tanks—from complete tanks to individual components—ready for the future.
The third generation—Matthijs, Michiel, Francis, and Joost—is now also working at the company.
