At Groeneveld Holding , sustainability and innovation go hand in hand. Our companies continue to develop their craftsmanship, creating solutions that last longer and require less maintenance.

At Groeneveld Holding , we believe in the power of innovation to promote sustainability. Welding robots, charging stations, and solar panels play a key role in this across all our companies. Our approach to sustainability and innovation is based on three pillars: people, the environment, and economic value—or People, Planet, Profit.

People

The well-being of our employees is our top priority. We are committed to creating a socially safe work environment where everyone feels welcome and supports one another. We support personal goals and encourage our employees to embrace a healthy lifestyle, for example by providing fresh fruit at work.

We are also committed to causes outside our companies. We support various charities, such as KWF, the Sophia Children’s Hospital, Giro 555, the Heart Foundation, and Alzheimer Nederland.

Planet

Our companies use welding robots in the production of our storage tanks. This minimizes material waste and reduces energy consumption, while ensuring consistent quality and less rework. In this way, safety and sustainability go hand in hand at our company.

At our facilities, you’ll find charging stations to support zero-emission mobility. In this way, Groeneveld Holding contributes to a green energy supply. Our facilities also use solar panels to generate clean energy for production:

  • CTC Tankbouw: 3,464 solar panels, with a capacity of 796 kWp, an annual output of approximately 650,000 kWh, and a CO2 reduction of approximately 234,000 kg.
  • Tolsma Tanks: 460 solar panels, generating approximately 275,000 kWh annually.

In addition, we are making our vehicle fleet more sustainable by purchasing electric and hybrid cars, and our equipment more sustainable by using electric cranes, for example.

Our products also contribute to a more sustainable world:

  • Hot and cold water storage tanks for horticulture, designed to save energy.
  • Degassing tanks, which enable geothermal energy to be used as a renewable energy source.
  • Buffer tanks installed near buildings, in combination with heat pumps, to phase out natural gas and make buildings more sustainable.
  • Unpressurized tanks for alternative, sustainable fuels such as HVO, Traxx, and AdBlue®.

In addition, our tanks last longer thanks to high-quality materials and craftsmanship that are continuously refined within our companies. Optional coatings such as DuraPlate (Permacor) and the C3, C4, and C5 systems protect against corrosion and further extend the service life of our tanks.

Profit

Working closely with our clients, we strive to deliver high-quality projects within the agreed-upon timeframe, with the highest level of safety and respect for the environment.
