60 steel coupling pontoons for Germany

TAB De Blesse is supplying a series of 60 steel coupling pontoons to a German customer. The pontoons are used for projects on and around the water, ranging from revetments and sheet piles to footbridges, docks, work platforms, and event stages.

The TAB coupling pontoon measures 4,200 x 2,100 x 750 mm and consists of four compartments, with 4-mm-thick bottoms and sides and a 10-mm-thick top deck. With a freeboard of 15 cm, each pontoon has a load capacity of approximately 2,675 kg. Thanks to the coupling pins on the underside and the half-moons on the top, the pontoons can be coupled with all standard NATO-sized pontoons, allowing them to easily integrate into existing fleets. Each pontoon comes with a hull inspection certificate valid for ten years.
