Inspection after 2.5 years
Do you own a portable fuel storage tank, an ADRTender, or an EnergyTender+? If so, you are required to have it inspected every 2.5 years. Our certified installers will come to your location to perform an inspection, during which they will check the overall condition of the tank. In addition, your tank will be inspected for the following aspects:
- Mechanical damage, deformations, or defective welds
- Anti-siphon device and anti-tip protection
- Leak Test
Please note! If you have scheduled a 2.5-year inspection, you are responsible for ensuring that the tank is empty. If the tank is not empty, we unfortunately will not be able to perform the inspection on-site, and we reserve the right to charge a €75.00 service call fee.
Inspection after 5 years
Every 5 years, the portable fuel storage tank must undergo an internal inspection, in addition to the general condition inspection conducted after 2.5 years. In addition, the manhole gaskets are replaced during this inspection.
Will your tank be approved? If so, you’ll receive the KIWA inspection report by email. The documents will also be automatically added to the digital logbook.
Please note! If you have scheduled an appointment for a 5-year inspection, you are responsible for ensuring that the tank is empty and cleaned. If the tank is not empty and cleaned, we will unfortunately be unable to perform the inspection on-site, and we reserve the right to charge a €75.00 service call fee.
Inspection after 15 years
After 15 years from the date of manufacture, the mobile tank must undergo an internal inspection in accordance with KIWA guidelines. This inspection takes place at our factory in Heerenveen. You can bring the empty tank to Heerenveen, or we can pick it up so that our inspector can inspect and clean it.
