CTC Tankbouw has installed six Octave One Plus battery systems on its own property. Together, they provide a storage capacity of 1,566 kWh and a power output of 750 kW.

The systems are fully suitable for outdoor installation, built using LFP (lithium iron phosphate) technology, and rated for more than 9,000 charge cycles. LFP batteries are safer in terms of fire risk and last longer than other lithium batteries; with daily charging and discharging, 9,000 cycles equate to a service life of well over twenty years.

The result: lower peak loads on the power grid, smarter use of our own energy, and operations that are less vulnerable to outages and rising energy costs. We are now putting into practice exactly what we advise our customers to do.
